Agribusiness is the main business in Indonesia and the tropical commodities has become the opportunity. The high demand of raw tropical commodities need to comply with socio environmental side to prevent the exploitation of the commodities. Local farmers commonly have different type of commodities to be planted for their livelihood. About 60 percent of their area is planted for staple foods like rice, corn, and the others. However, they can’t rely on it. 40 percent others are utilize to cultivalte alternative commodities. We summarize that local farmers need to be assisted for accessing broad market by developing cultivation to meet the quality standard.
To meet quality and traceability of the products, production cycle should be shorten by integrating all parties involved. To achieve this, it is necessary to set up good management system on each project point in every resource. Here, we are come to optimize the tropical agriculture products which directly from local source with traceable, sustainable, and fair in pricing between consumer and farmers. Our activities as the respond to market by procuring the tropical commodities become more ethical.
