Often referred as white ginger, the shape of this small ginger is small and slightly flattened with a soft fiber. The meat is white. Although the aroma's of this ginger is less sharp, but it feels more spicy than giant ginger.

It has high oil content, which is about 1.7-2.5% so this ginger often used as a spice for cooking and also herbs (dry or fresh).
